We stopped in for some dinner here. The food was great and the portion sizes are generous. We did have to wait for a few for our order to be taken but we also stopped in on a major holiday weekend, so they were pretty busy. Once our order was in all our food came out quickly. All in all a great place, great service and great food.

Food, staff, atmosphere...everything was amazing! Loved the Greek fries. Definitely will be making them at home. 40 years and never even considered making them that way

It was love at first sight for me. I had the whitefish sandwich and I will say that is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Jen the bartender was absolutely fantastic and a really sweet person She's on top of her business and my drink never went empty. I can't wait to pass back through and stop here again. You did a great job on the decor. A lot of cool retro stuff on the walls and 22 ounce mugs. You're the best and see you soon

Had the whitefish, was fresh and tasty! Loved the coleslaw, had a slight kick to it! The owner talked us into trying the blueberry pie! Was amazed that her mother made the blueberry pie from hand picked wild blueberries from the area, where else can you find that???? Definitely on our go to list when in the area!!!

Tasty local bar with quite a collection of vintage art posters & photos. Easy walk from marina or short drive from Cedarville with a cute gift store close by. Slow paced & relaxed. Perch basket was delicious as were the cheese curds. Yum

If you’re fortunate enough to visit Hessel Mi . Don’t miss the opportunity to have eats and drinks at this restaurant. The atmosphere is so fun, it’s extremely clean, staff is very efficient and we could understand why after meeting some of the managers Abby, Paula , and not sure if Mike was management as well , but he definitely seemed to orchestrate the flow through out the whole restaurant. Lastly, the food is very good!!! .. for lunch we had whitefish tacos that were absolutely delicious in the evening we had bang bang shrimp and whitefish/ perch fish fry, also very good ! We have been going to Hessel for many years and for a long time we didn’t go back to this restaurant because it wasn’t that good , so Hats off to the management and crew!!!!
